FAQ

How is the work delivered? What are the costs?

The larger works and international deliveries are taken to Pack and Send, a courier company, where it is professionally wrapped, boxed and delivered to your door. Smaller works (under 1 metre in length) are packed and boxed by the artist and sent via registered mail with Australia Post. Smaller works will cost anything from around $15 to $40 to send within Australia. Large works are according to size and weight and will be calculated on an individual basis. You will be sent an official quote provided by the courier on request.

Can the work be sent internationally?

I can send to most countries. I can forward a quote from the courier company on the cost of delivery to your country.

Does the work come with a certificate of authenticity?

Yes. All work comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.

What kind of paints are used?

High quality oil paints are used: Langridges, Art Spectrum, Archival, Windsor and Newton, Georgian.

Is the work framed?

Some works are framed and it will be stated on the description and shown in the photograph. Most are stretched on to a pine frame. All stretched paintings are 4cm deep unless otherwise stated. If the work is not framed, and framing is required, this can be done on request. A quote can be provided.

Is the work ready to hang?

All works are ready to hang with wire at the back unless otherwise stated.

Are commissions available?

As I only paint beaches that I visit or frequent, I don't normally do commission work. Moments of joy and taking in the essence of a place are the inspiration and soul of my work. This is hard to achieve from a photo.
