Tracy Wootton Beach Art

About the Artist
As a lifelong lover of the beach, I’ve been creating art inspired by the Australian coastline for over 18 years. Starting with textiles, I made intricately hand-made wearable art that encapsulated the beauty of the sea. But eventually, I realized that I wanted to capture the essence of the beach in a different way. I turned to painting to express my love for the many shades of blue, green and grey that wash over the shore. Even though I am self-taught, my works have found their way into the collections of clients in Europe, the US and of course within Australia.
My Story
With every painting I create, I hope to evoke a sense of connection and emotion in my audience. My work is informed by the changing seasons, the time of day, and the beauty found in even the most overlooked moments. I am a firm believer in the conservation of our natural world, and I try to use my art as a vessel to raise awareness around important environmental issues. Whether it is through the texture of the canvas or the vibrancy of the paint, my goal is to create art that speaks to people on a deep and personal level.
My paintings reflect my love for the beach, the ocean and everything in between. They capture the beauty and serenity of these natural wonders, and I hope to inspire others with my art. However, as an artist and an Australian citizen, I can't ignore the impact of climate change and pollution on our environment. Every day, our beaches are in danger of being destroyed by human activity. That's why I contribute a portion of my painting proceeds to Greenpeace, an organisation that fights for the future of our planet. I urge you to do the same and join the fight to protect our natural heritage.
